Autonomous robots may soon replace Uber Eats drivers, according to recent developments. The company's partnership with AI-powered robotics firm Cartken has led to a pilot program in Fairfax, Va., where select restaurants in the Mosaic District have begun utilizing autonomous robots for deliveries.

This is the latest step in the collaboration between the two firms, as Cartken also works with GrubHub, a competitor of Uber Eats, to deliver food on college campuses.

Do you ever feel like modern action movies are turning up the volume on fight scenes so loud that you can't even hear what the characters are saying? It's like they're trying to make you feel like you're in the middle of the action, but instead you're just confused and wondering if you should turn on subtitles.

And don't even get me started on actors with accents or those who speak in a husky whisper. It's like they're speaking a whole other language that only dogs can hear. I mean, I've had to rewind a scene more times than I care to admit just to catch a plot point or two. And let's be real, sometimes I just give up and Google it.

But fear not, my movie-loving friends, because Prime Video has come up with a solution: Dialogue Boost. This magical tool uses AI to isolate dialogue in a scene and crank up the volume when necessary. And not only that, it's also smart enough to raise the volume during loud, chaotic scenes when background noise is drowning out the dialogue.

Now, Dialogue Boost was designed specifically for folks with hearing loss, but let's be real, it's a game changer for all of us who just want to hear what the heck the characters are saying without having to lip read. So go ahead and personalize your volume levels, my friends, and enjoy your movie without having to rely on Google to understand the plot. Read more…
