Humane, a startup founded by former Apple employees, has unveiled a new wearable device that acts as a personal assistant using AI and a display projected onto the user's hand. The device records everything the user hears and sees during the day, including messages, emails, calendar invites, in-person conversations, and meetings, and summarizes them for the user.

This standalone device can be controlled through voice commands or by tapping it, eliminating the need for a phone. It can project a screen onto any surface, including the user's hand, and can detect button presses using its camera. Additionally, the device includes a translation feature, allowing users to translate sentences into different languages.

Overall, this device is reminiscent of Google Glasses, catering mostly to tech enthusiasts. However, if it proves effective, real-time transcription of in-person conversations could become a "killer" application.

Can Artificial Intelligence (AI) design an Ikea chair? That's a question the Swedish design agency Space10, funded by Ikea, aims to answer. As part of their experiments on creativity in the Age of AI, Space10 has trained AI models using images from decades-old Ikea catalogs. The resulting AI-generated images resemble those found in Ikea's showrooms.

These experiments are not only teaching Space10's staff how machine learning can be a useful tool for designers working on personal passion projects or commercial designs like the Billy shelf, but they also demonstrate AI's potential to create artwork, music, and essays. Read more…

Social media consultant Matt Navarra recently revealed that TikTok is developing a feature for creating AI-generated profile pictures. Navarra shared images and a video of the tool with The Verge, showing that the headshots produced by the tool resemble those from Prisma Labs' Lensa app. As the feature will be integrated into TikTok, users may soon encounter a greater number of AI-made avatars while browsing their feeds.

The tool works by prompting users to submit three to ten photos and choose from two to five styles for the AI-generated photos. The photos take some time to generate, but once complete, users can download them, set one as their avatar, or post one on their TikTok story.

No worries…with promptbase you can search and find prompts for chatgpt, midjourney, DALL-E, Stable diffusion. I’ve used it myself when I was stumped and needed a prompt to solve a problem I was having.

The prompts on the site are not free, you do have to purchase them.

However what I also did was once I got over the learning curve with creating prompts (mines really sucked at first) then you can use CHATGPT to create prompts and sell them on this site also. You won’t get rich doing it, but you can earn a few extra bucks for very little work done one time.
